Terms of sale
Last updated 23 October 2026
These terms cover buying Zammoth and using your account. What you may do with the app itself is in the licence agreement.
Who sells Zammoth
Zammoth is sold by Zammoth LLC, 5152 Bowden Ave, San Diego, California 92117, United States. You can reach us at support@zammoth.com.
What you buy
A licence to use Zammoth, the app for Apple-silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. It is a one-time payment of $99 (US dollars) at the open-beta price, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies, which checkout works out and shows before you pay; it does not expire. The price will rise after the beta; a licence bought now stays yours at no further cost.
What the licence switches on is the engineer - the chat, mix runs and Auto Mix. Opening, editing, recording and exporting work without one.
The trial
Each account can try the engineer for three days, counted from the first time the account signs in from the app. When the trial ends, only the engineer stops; the rest of Zammoth keeps working, and your projects are untouched.
The engineer runs on your own Anthropic key
The engineer uses Anthropic's Claude models through your own Anthropic API account. You add your key in the app (Preferences ▸ Agent); it is kept in your Mac's keychain, and we never receive it. Anthropic bills you directly for what the engineer uses, under your agreement with Anthropic and its usage policies. That cost depends on the model you pick and how much you ask, and the app shows an estimate as it goes. We are not a party to that agreement and cannot refund Anthropic's charges.
Product keys
If someone gives you a product key, redeeming it in the app (Preferences ▸ Account ▸ Product key) puts a licence on the account you are signed in with. A key can be redeemed once.
Updates
Your licence includes every update published during the beta, and every 1.x update after it. A later major version (2.0) may be a paid upgrade; the version you have keeps working. The app checks for updates and asks before it installs one.
Refunds
You can have a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason: write to support@zammoth.com from the address on your account. A refunded licence ends: the engineer stops, as at the end of a trial, and the rest of the app keeps working. If a payment is disputed with your bank, the licence is suspended while the dispute is open and comes back if it is settled in our favour.
Your account
You need an account - an email address and a password - to sign in from the app. Keep the password to yourself; the licence is for the person whose account it is. You can see the Macs signed in to your account, and sign them out, on the account page. A Mac that has not been used for 90 days is signed out by itself, and every Mac is signed out a year after it was signed in, however much it is used; signing in again takes a minute.
Your music
Your projects, your audio and what you make with Zammoth are yours. We claim no rights in them, and they stay on your Mac: see the privacy notice for exactly what the engineer sends, and where.
A beta
Zammoth is in beta. Features will change, and some will have faults; keep backups of projects that matter to you.
Warranty and liability
Zammoth is provided as it is, without warranties beyond those the law gives you and does not let us exclude. To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from Zammoth is limited to what you paid for the licence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer. These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, and its courts, except where the law of the place you live gives you protections that cannot be set aside.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and a change that takes something away from a licence you already bought does not apply to it.
