Multiband Saturation
Three bands, each with its own drive, curve and mix, split by two adjustable crossovers. The display shows the input and output spectra, the harmonics each band adds and where they land, and the distortion per band.

Parameters
The Saturn-style 3-band saturator — its own entry in the add menu (distinct from plain Saturation; a device never morphs between the two).
| Parameter | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Drive (per band) | 0–24 dB | 0 |
| Mix (per band) | 0–1 | 1 |
| Curve (per band) | tanh / warm / tube / hard | tanh |
| Crossover Lo / Hi | 30–4000 / 200–16,000 Hz | 150 / 2000 |
| Global Mix | 0–1 | 1 |
Controls and display
There is no OS control here: unlike plain Saturation, the multiband saturator splits the signal into bands first and shapes each one separately, which would need its own oversampler per band. If the fizz described under Saturation is what you are hearing, use a plain Saturation on the band you care about with OS 4, or back the drive off.
Surface (the heat field): the track's spectrum drawn twice — the input as a faint fill in each band's colour, the output as the bright line — with the harmonics each band adds filled between them in the band's colour and drawn as bars on the frequency axis where they land (H2…H7 at multiples of the band's centre, so low-band drive is seen reaching into the mid band). Each band has a chip (LOW · 12.0 DB · MIX 100 · TUBE), a dashed amber KNEE line (the level above which the wave bends: minus the drive — the input above it glows warm), and its THD stamped in the lane.
The HEAT column on the right shows how far each band is being pushed into its curve (the dashed tick is the knee; above it the wave is clipping), the THD cells, the CURVE pads (TANH / WARM / TUBE / HARD — the column's pads set every band) and the crossover cells. The knobs sit in console decks under their band (drive / mix) with the global mix under the column; the narrow pane folds them to one strip. In the focus pane the FIELD · CARDS chip switches to the waveshaper cards: a card per band with its transfer curve (the part the music is using lit, the live dot on its peak), its live harmonic stack, THD, a heat bar and its own curve pads — the same switch as view.sat_cards.
Focus-pane drags: a band's knee (down for more drive), a crossover pill; double-click a knee for no drive, a crossover for its default. (Per-band output trim exists for the agent/API.)
